Privacy policy
This page explains what information this website actually collects and what currently happens to it. It describes the real, current implementation — not a standard template — and will be updated as that changes.
What we collect
The only information this website collects is what you choose to submit through thecontact and quote form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the service you're enquiring about, and your message. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking script on this site, and no cookies are set by the site itself.
What happens to a submission
When you submit the form, it's sent to a server-side function that checks it's complete and filters out likely spam before accepting it.
At the time of writing, email delivery has not yet been configured.Submitted enquiries are not currently forwarded to an email inbox or saved in a database — see the project's README for the technical detail. This page will be updated, and will name the service used, once that's in place.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. If that changes — for example, if analytics are added in future — this page will be updated first, and a consent banner will be added if required.
Hosting
This site is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes requests (including form submissions) as part of serving the site; seeCloudflare's own GDPR documentationfor how they handle this.
Data controller and contact details
[To be confirmed by the business owner: the registered business/legal entity name, a contact address for privacy enquiries, and how long enquiry submissions are kept once email delivery is configured. This section is intentionally left as a placeholder rather than inventing these details — see OWNER-DECISIONS.md.]
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal information held about you, including the right to ask what's held and to ask for it to be deleted. To exercise these rights regarding a form submission, contact the business using the details on thecontact page once they are confirmed and published.
This page describes the current implementation honestly rather than claiming legal compliance has been certified. It should be reviewed against actual legal requirements — and updated — before the site accepts real enquiries from the public.
